Aren't they phasing these out for that new Oshkosh M-ATV MRAP?

Probably for the new JLTV actually... but like the 113, some will likely stay in service with the Guard and Reserves for another decade or more... :hmm:

Today I was finally able to get in some bench time and an airbrush session using the new AK Real Color NATO colors for the chassis and body base color. They definitely have a faded/scale effect look compared to Tamiya or Revell versions of the same colors

Later in the week I hope to get the rest of the camo colors on….

Stuart and Lyle, thanks. Now I gotta paint up the interior details before I glue the top in place and windshield. After that I can start the camo scheme.

Progress over the past few days. Thursday I was able to get the detail items on the chassis painted

Then yesterday I airbrushed on the NATO camo using AK Real Colors after I had glued to doors to the top and masked off the window openings

And today was airbrush on a gloss coat and once that dried, I applied the decals

Next bench session I plan on getting the flat coat on, final assembly and weathering…
