It's been a few days since I posted but I managed to break out the polishing / sanding pads on this bad boy. I started at 3200 grit and worked my way up to 12000 grit before applying the decals and spraying the clear on it.
We start here around the 3200 grit range...
to the 12000 grit stuff:
and then finally decals and clear that got shot on Friday morning:
I didn't touch this thing until yesterday to check it all out only to find a speck in the driver door and a paint run on the R/H rear quarter panel. Looks like wet sanding and polishing are in order once more......

Thanks Jimmy. I've gotta find a way to polish this bad boy after sanding the flaws out. I aint looking forward to that!
