Secondly, that artwork Bruce reminds me of a Starwars Comic/Graphic Novel I had as a kid. The cover said 'Return of the Jedi' (and used the original Movie poster) but the story inside wasn't - it was actually a link story between the ESB and ROTJ about how Leia, Luke, Lando etc. located the whereabouts of Han, and how the plans for the 2nd Deathstar were obtained... It's was a cool story - I wonder if I could find a copy :hmm:

Well after a (very) quick search - I found it. Return of the Jedi Annual 1984. (okay not the movie poster artwork - but to be fair, it was 42 years ago)

It's cool but my only gripe is that AMT kits are usually very simplified. Not even close to the Bandai ones.

Was it Round 2 who retooled the Falcon sidewalls? What a bear it was to cut those down!

Most of the AMT Star Wars kits date from 1978 to 1983. MPC/AMT was never the company that hand cutting edge tooling.
