Don't know what the freezer trick is. Think I'm going to have to cut them and re-glue them. There's some PE that goes on the wide end of the supports so I can use that as a reinforcement.

We’ve all have had our own “ I’m a dum@$$” moments. You’re not alone. I’ve heard of the freezer method but never tried it.

If you put parts in the freezer it makes it easier to crack glue joints. I did this a few times and it works pretty well - proceed at your own risk.
They say it works well for CA but I found it worked for regular glue. Others say use a hair dryer on regular glue.

If you used CA glue use a CA debonder...
