Brandon, those are both superb. Super work. That's one of the best Monogram SBDs I've seen put together. The finish and construction are spot on. AM kit is fabulous as well.

I'll build more AM kits. Now I know what to expect from the assembly process. The kit is very "suggestive" when it comes to placement of things rather than clear and clean "it goes here" guidance like Tamiya. It's best to download the Academy instructions for the rebox as they updated the instructions and corrected many of the problematic areas.

Are they 1/72 scale Dauntless kits? I have a couple of Dauntless kits in 1/48 scale.
