Thats is very realistic!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Tried applying the decals on the Tigercat last night. I really like the big yellow markings but the carrier film was super chalky. Not silvering just not transparent. Ridiculously priced decals on order - and they aren't yellow but they're okay.

John

The Markings on Tigercat were pretty simple. I’d be tempted to try masks.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

Off the workbench for now - waiting for decals

The decals on the '34 slammer went south (bad month for decals) so she sits in the purple pond.

This is one of two models I thought were lost/stolen during my move (the other being a 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair). Turned out they had fallen behind other kits on a shelf in my stash cabinets - found them this weekend. :headslap: :giggles:

Anyhow - I've built this kit before and it needs a bit of filler but I wanted to do a TWA Super Connie. First time using 8ADecals so let's hope 3rd time is a charm
