Thanks Chaps - I've not done one since I was a kid either.
It's a nice little kit if you get a chance to build one.

very well done! It looks great. Such an iconic aircraft. What little I"ve read on it, it was also easy and simple for pilots to fly.

You should if you get a chance - I'd like to see that. It's a cool subject!

Thanks Lyle - it is indeed a icon. I do like the P-40, it may not have been the best but it was good enough and did the job when the Allies needed it. I read recently that after the P-51 and P-47, it was the most produced US aircraft during WWII.
I've been reading/listening to a lot of books on the war in Burma and China over this year - a really interesting subject. I'm just finished up an audio-book on the battle of the Admin box and then I have one to listen to on the Flying Tigers - I'm looking forward to it.

The light's are much brighter there, so forget all your troubles, forget all you cares and go downtown....
Okay so not an A-6, but another bit of rolling thunder...
This is the old (and totally inaccurately nosed) F-105F kit - just a bit of nostalgia.
Here's the cockpit....
And crew...
Cheers Dudes.
