Asides from everything else on the bench I have these two going on as well...

Italeri F6F-3 Hellcat. Not too bad a kit although I'm going to have to replace the gun barrels as the kit ones were awful, and the fit of the cockpit was pretty poor.

And an Airfix F4F Wildcat - not much progress as yet, just gluing the cockpit together.

What's on my bench? Several kits stalled due to lack of ambition to resume.

Tamiya F-16 Aggressor
Tamiya Panther tank
F/A-18 "Worimi Hornet"
P-51D Mustang - since then trashed

Hopefully, after Syrcon on October 19th will spur my mojo back.

Mostly, as always, utter chaos.

But,

1/46 M10 Tamiya
1/48 Mosquito Tamiya
1/35 M16 Tamiya
1/48 P-40 AMTech

Plus a dozen or two other “projects” in various stages of completion.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Sounds about the same as me Lyle. I tend to start a great big batch, pack them away unfinished and then start another LOL!

This excellent fitting 1/48 HobbyBoss Il-11 Fang I got as a secret Santa gift on another forum. Ready for paint - and it will be an interesting color. Waiting for the paint to get here.

And a Meng Panzer II toontank/egg thingy - pretty fun.
Been a very slow year for me - but that's the beauty of it being a hobby.
Thanks,
John

Excellent fitting? Why do I see putty? :giggles:

I've always had good luck the HB kits. Now that I've said that I won't.

I just can't let some things go. The only real issue was the cowl ring and figured while I had the putty out....

I've been doing some figure work to add into my Easy 8 project.

for the loaders hatch

Image

Image

then I built up these two, although only the bow gunner figure on the left will be used. I swapped heads with other figures in the set

Image

I'll be using this driver, but not this bow gunner, that I built and painted years ago

Image

and all four together so you see the differences between what is in the box and what I swapped/changed from other figures in the set.
