So I needed something to build quickly and I got the Academy 1/144 P-8A Poseidon out. It really was an easy build and in one day I had it pretty much completely built. There's a few places to clean up and then it's ready for painting. I'm probably going to get decals for it later.

Looking good Stuart. Must have nice taxi visibility from the cockpit as opposed to a tail dragger like the Corsair. I don't think I've ever built one of these

That P-8 looks great. I’m holding out hope they come out in 1/72 scale. I have the P-3 Orion in my stash.

Love the P8 - it's on my wishlist. A 737 with missiles and torpedoes! Take that Southwest Airlines

Pax River NAS in Southern Maryland already phased out the P-3 Orion squadron and now have P-8 Poseidon squadron.
