Good luck on the canopy! If you have too, take a strip of Bare Metal Foil and make a frame piece to hide the split....Field repair of sorts...
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yes, something like that could work, thanks Lyle!

Hopefully Revells Customerservice is back up and running smoothly these days. I’ll be interested to hear how it all turns out Kari.

All the best, Kari. I know you have this project moving forward beautifully with a great deal of... panache. Your wet weathering (leaks and streaks in wheel wells) is exquisite; your color coats are just beautiful. I also like the impact of mud in the visible grooves of the tires very much.

Thank you Bruce for your kind words!

The build has absolutely not stalled, despite no bigger updates during the week, main reason I was on a regular worktrip in Germany.

Have been struggling, throughout the build, what to do with the engines.

My first decision was not to show the engines, even if they look very good.
My limited experience in detailing an engine is not good, so I rather test that with another build. My I decided nevertheless to build the engines to a certain degree inside the nacelles. Adding most of the pieces, leaving out those that causes fit issues..

Yesterday evening, while test-fitting for the hundred time, I decided.. I will leave the engines atogether out of the build! Will need some careful work to align the pieces, but then again, would be even more if the big enginge would sit inside.

I know many of us like to build details, for example inside the fuselage, that disappear totally when fuselage is wrapped up. And usually we do it, because we know it's there. I have also done so, but with this build I will stop doing that. Especially in situations where I need to struggle for a fit, just then to disappear for ever!

So, Bf-110 C-7 going forward, engines out!

Will be a busy weekend, hope I can continue with the belts!

Yeah, work can be in the way sometimes... :giggles:

In any case, this build is progressing beautifully. Lots of hidden detail in this.

Lot’s a nice details molded in, your work is stunning Kari. But look on the bright side is that you take beautiful pictures of your work so even if you cannot see everything after the build is complete, the pictures are there to document it!
