With the Skyray and Demon awaiting paint, I got the Viper back out to see where I am with it because it is close to painting as well. Checked the fit of the tail surfaces. Need to clean up some spots on the airbrakes now.

Thanks Lyle! For some reason I thought that I couldn't use the wing tanks on this one. After looking at all the parts and downloading the instructions for the ANG boxing of this kit, I found that I could. It might take some creative work getting them attached but it will work!!

So if you're doing a modern jet like Vipers, Legacy/Super Hornets, Eagles, Prowlers, Warthogs or Corsair II's, I can't recommend these books enough. I use them all the time during builds as reference (I just used the Viper one to check the external tanks and their pylons).

The canopy is completely attached now. Not far off from painting.
