Italian F-16's were leased from the US. They were the ADF version (like was already stated) that came out of the bone yard. If you need more info, I have three F-16 books that show EVERYTHING!!

When it comes to modern aircraft, there's nothing better than Reid Air Publishing's books. I have books on the Viper, Hornet/Super Hornet, Eagle, and Warthog. He also has a book on the Corsair II that I haven't gotten yet.

Just got home an hour ago after a niece’s high school graduation party in Rochester. (little over 2 hr drive each way) I’m hoping to get a little bench time later tonight.
