Do you have any regrets now giving her up?

Well, the small block Ford family goes under the Windsor category. If it was stock it had a 302 in it.

Interesting - never new all the small blocks - 221/260/289 were considered Windsor as well. Look, I learned something!
Thanks,

Yeah the only time you'll really ever hear the Windsor name come into play are with the 351's where you have either the 351 Windsor, which is a small block and the 351 Cleveland or 351 Modified which are the 335 series medium blocks. All Windsor's are small block engines with 6 bolts retaining the rocker covers to the cylinder heads and the 335 series have 8.

Ok gang.....I'd reached a point with this one that I had a decision to make. To show where I've been with this thing, where I'm at and where I going with I'll post some pictures.

This is where I started with the glue bomb after I got it. It was supposed to be a parts car and then grew on me. Test fitted with a set of aluminum Welds.
The point of this shot is to show the gloss...………….er lack of gloss that it did have.

and here's after I got through with re-glossing, wet sanding and polishing :

and lastly:

Anybody wanna make any guesses as to what's gonna happen here??? :hmm:

Just to add a little extra hint.

I got a GOOD deal on this kit from a friend over at Model Cars Magazine forum otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered getting one. Anybody wanna take any guesses at how much these kits are going for these days??
I think the CHEAPEST price I've found yet (and that's if you can find one) was $109!!! :wow:
