You’d be surprised what they have for auto PE. I’ve still got PE mudflaps somewhere.

Thanks you guys. Yes....things have changed drastically in the automotive field of modeling. It used to be the same ol' hum drum stuff with building a car model but these days there's more stuff available for cars it seems like than there are for aircraft.

I agree with you, Joe—with the exception of Wingnut Wings, though. They are truly formidable aircraft kits out of the box.

Re: Cross Kit General Lee Build-Paint Applied-07/14
I spent the first part of the week wet sanding the imperfections out of the paint and then the rest of the week applying Bare Metal Foil around all the window trim and drip rails and today...the decals. Here's a couple of shots of how it sits now. Still got the flag decal coated with Microsol to help it all lay flat onto the roofline. Had a couple of areas on the edges where it didn't want to lay down flush. Now to let the cals dry and then off to the gloss coat....my favorite part.

Oh yes, the wet sanding has done its magic, now the color is even more spot on Joe !
Smooth work with the decals as well !
