Re: 1/144 Minicraft Douglas DC-6B
It's pretty nice. You can spooge it on a seam and take off excess with a wet finger or Q-tip.
Thanks,
John

My go-to putty. Very easy to work with. That reminds me, I need to order more.

The DC-6 is on the shelf of doom. I'm switching to the 1/72 Hasegawa X-29 which is on John's list twice.

Thanks,
John

Oh boy. TEST your decals BEFORE you add them to the model. Mine is toast because the decals shattered as soon as I tried to use them.

So far so good - the IP decal and console decals went on with no trouble. This little bird comes together quickly.

Thanks,
John

It is a really nice looking bird, it's a shame it was only a testbed. Looks good so far.

I think it's done. Some touch ups here and there. Made a few mistakes on the decals but there you go.

I think John would have liked it. I miss him more than any other forum member I never met - not to discredit the rest of you. I have a profound respect for Johns abilities and massive knowledge of aviation and modeling. Truly hurt me when I heard he passed.

Wow! That looks great! You didn't have any problems with the decals wanting to break apart?
