To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Inspiration on a plate right here man, loving it.
This build has inspired me to do a wee side build, i managed to download a full size space marine helmet in paper craft which im going to give a go. If it works, ill try it in foam core and bondo it to make it look a little more real.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

That is seriously cool!

I love GW stuff - I used to have quite a sizable Space Marine Army. I haven't built any in years though. the one thing I never had was a dreadnaught.

My painting was NEVER anywhere near that good though.

You might have inspired me...
