Kari, I'm glad to see you move on. While others in my scale of 1/72 have put seat belts in their aircraft; I tend to skip them altogether; except in some occasions where they are decals. In my scale; they are easily overlooked. In this scale, they are more noticeable, yet a cockpit can still be well built without them. I'm thrilled to see this moving forward.
Bring it home my friend!

Thanks Duke,
I agree, in a 1/32 scale build, belts should be "mandatorial", but I just simply could not get out of the dead-end, so, figuring out a "story"... for some reason the mechanics have removed the belts (temporaly of course) from this aircraft..

Not such a fanciful story - I had to do that many time in years past.

Thanks Stuart, that was great to know! :-)

Finally the first milestone has been reached, there is a connection, the fuselage halves has become one!
Even if the fit was good, still some Mr Surfacer was needed after sanding the fuselage spine smooth.
The nose cone is not glued, but the fit is so excellent it stays firmly in it's future place.
And then of course a "full-size" test fitting exercise.
There are some pieces still to be added into the cockpit, so still some work to be done before the "greenhouse" can be attached.
