Re: Messerschmitt bf109 G10
That’s the final design of the interior canopy backplate with accommodation for the jettison bar of the Erla canopy. Your version looks a little too “flattened” to my eyes. It’s a rod. See photo
Here!

Your version of the Erla jettison bar looks flat not round and the rear access door looks a litle wide. You're missing a few details on the backplate itself, though. You'll see some of the missing details in the photo above as well as the photo below. The entire backplate should be flush with the fuselage and not raised. I'm not sure why that is, perhaps a concession to help support a closed canopy.

Historical detail. The final version of the German canopy emergency jettison mechanism for the Bf 109G-14 Erla canopy had a much simpler mechanism than previous, consisting of one single bar as shown in the photo. The bar contained a hole for the hinge pin on the right and a hole for the canopy locking pin on the left. This bar is attached to the cockpit will with a latch. When the canopy jettison toggle and cable (no longer a "lever") under the windscreen on the left side of the cockpit was pulled, this released the latch that secured the bar to the cockpit shelf and the whole thing was pulled by the airflow. Just FYI...
Here’s ZM’s version with some additional detail present:

Thanks a lot Bruce... I know that the rear acces door "box" looks a bit off...but it will stay like this...the canopy is glued and I will not remove it.
For the rod same thing, I know that it does not look perfect... I might add a small rod on top of the wrong flat version...
And THANK YOU again for your comments and help...

Re: Messerschmitt bf109 G10
Greg,
You’re welcome. Since you’ve done so much scratchbuilding I decided to at the very least let you know some aspects look a little off. Part of the issues are with the kit design for the cockpit. There shouldn’t be hard seam lines defining the cockpit tub, and that’s a downfall of the kit (1 and 2).

1–that seam line is wrong and should be removed -
2-that raised edge is also wrong - a kit concession -
From what I can tell, starting with this kit as a customizing platform would not be my first choice. What to you think?
On the subject of criticism, I’m grateful you and I established that a critique was possible due to shared views about accuracy. And more important, shared opinions about chasing that down as a goal.
I believe the quality of work you’re doing reflects a deeper commitment towards producing a final project worthy of a great deal of personal satisfaction—which is essential.
Cheers!

Re: Messerschmitt bf109 G10
Greg,
You did more than most model builders and showed off your skills admirably. Building any variant from an earlier platform is a challenge.
The Zoukei-Mura kit isn’t perfect, either. I’m not sure which bits of plastic I would choose as a starting point in quarter scale. Taken at that level, this has been quite a revelation.
I will check out your channel. I’m an absolute visual snob especially about videography, though. You’ll have to forgive me in advance.

A true work of art......particularly since it's a Revell kit that you are working with. Not just a whole lot of scale modelers out there would ever have the skills necessary to pull this off. Whatever inaccuracies there are along the way here, it is MORE than made up for in the amount of talent that it has taken to bring this model up past ANY Tamiya, Eduard or Miniart standard. Incredible work that is truly worthy of the utmost admiration.

ATOM paint line.... a different animal for sure. I have one color of ATOM paint and find it a challenge - figuring out the paint:thinner ratio, air pressure, etc...
Once I got it figured, it sprays nice. Would I get more colors from ATOM? No.
