Thanks Stuart! The Alclad chrome isn’t as bright as I had hoped it would be, but it’s good enough for this project. :wink:

Looking good. For super bright shine (think polished aluminum planes) try Alclad airframe aluminum - ALC-119

John, that’s the look I was expecting from Chrome… but Alclad Chrome looks more like the Chrome lining on a M16 chamber and bore than like a Chrome bumper on a 57 Bel Aire. It’s not as polished

Yesterday I masked off the cowling and rudder, and today I airbrushed on the RLM 71, then did touch ups on the RLM 02 and RLM 65
