Yeah, tough to pick out. The Italeri 1/48 kit has the same markings I'm doing...but shows the plane in solid green...not camo. I have 3 pics in my refs (HK, AK, and BK)...all show the same camo, hard to see, but it's there!

Anyway, after a very frustrating decal session, they're done. The decal film is stupid thin....which you would think would be a good thing....the little ones all folded over and/or under themselves and wanted to stick to everything but the model :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: ...when I finally got em sorted back out (several times for some) and placed correctly and went to dab them, they'd disappear, stuck to the paper towel :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: ....lather, rinse, REPEAT!
PITA!!!!

She be on 'er feet!
What a pain in the arse that was!!! The outer struts did not sit any kind of well, nor did the line up as they should have...a little bit of cutting and filler took care of it though.

Image

I made the ladder/handles with stretched sprue (kit parts were stupid)...pinched the end with tweezers and bent to shape.

About to go in for a dull coat, then final touches.....then figure out how to make a beaching dolly.

Wow! :yikes:
The finish on this MOFO is outstanding and the cals really look great. All of your improvements and additions really bring this thing to life...the camo pattern pops a bit more since you flattened the finish...

:that:
You brought this one to life, to be sure.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
