Portside, I had the markings guide to by...

Starboard, I just carried the pattern lines across as best I could, made it up as I went once I got down the side. (Most of this will be covered this afternoon with desert sand, kind of a shame as I like how the splinter turned out. :giggles: )

And it's the pattern on the wing that has convinced me carry on with the over painting. That, and the fact that I already have the sand paint mixed & ready to go. Ran out of time before I had to leave the house this morning, I'll require some time alone with the putty.

I love your Henschel and want it to conduct a detailed photo recon of me while I'm sunbathing in my back-garden... :lashed:

I woulda preferred the tan to be a little more tan but its hard to tell exact shades using bad photography...BUTT, I am diggin this bird a lot. I need one :popcorn: !

Yeah, it'll definitely fit in with my "wildly varied" collection. I'm using Tamiya's Desert Yellow for the sand colour.... Pics are darker than in-person, as they were taken later in the evening, with just the livingroom light.
