Portside, I had the markings guide to by...
Starboard, I just carried the pattern lines across as best I could, made it up as I went once I got down the side. (Most of this will be covered this afternoon with desert sand, kind of a shame as I like how the splinter turned out.

)
Annnnnnd the wing & elevators.
And it's the pattern on the wing that has convinced me carry on with the over painting. That, and the fact that I already have the sand paint mixed & ready to go. Ran out of time before I had to leave the house this morning, I'll require some time alone with the putty.

Yeah, it'll definitely fit in with my "wildly varied" collection. I'm using Tamiya's Desert Yellow for the sand colour.... Pics are darker than in-person, as they were taken later in the evening, with just the livingroom light.
