By the time he's finished, somebody's gonna want to take it for a ride.

This kit is a marvel indeed. Even without the AM parts it builds up to a showstopper. Fit is so well you don't have to be a modelling pro to make it look great.

Alclad stands for alchemy - it turns plastic into metal. :stirpot:

Good point! As soon as the tyres are on I'll have to lock it.

Thank you all for dropping by and leaving such flattering comments!

5th Update :writing:

Hello and welcome back to some motorcycle modelling.

Tamiyas brake lines failed the quality check - way out of scale and too soft. Ordered replacement but only the transparent version was in stock. We'll give it a shot of H77 Tire Black later
Image

The rear brake disc made of 3 etched parts and four rivets
Image

Here it's already mounted along with the rear wheel. Stiffened the tube with aluminium wire to avoid buckling and to to be able to adjust the radius later on
Image

The front fork got its ÖHLINS decals and attached to the bike. Love the metal parts of Tamiyas detail set. It looks the part
Image

For the recessed lettering on the brake calipers decals are provided. Wanted to avoid this fiddly job so we went with red oil colour and a quick wipe with a cloth. Took us less than five minutes. The rather thick break line connectors were snapped off and replaced by wire. Will allow the much thinner AM-tubes to fit smoothly

And that's how my one wheeled italian beauty rests on my bench tonight

Thanks for your curiosity and stay tuned for more,

Just amazing work!
