Boy, you need to get out more!

I got this and then a 1/72 DC-3 to have two in the same scale. Although not quite in the same class as the Doulas offering, this was and is very classy looking.
I know, lived a sheltered life behind the windscreen of the 109.

We talkin Humbrol paints? I was just at the hobby shop. He no longer carries the Humbrol. He was more than willing to special order what I wanted...until he he saw he had to order a box of whatever. Don’t blame him. The guy behind me said that Scalehonnyist had them. So, with two recommendation, I’ll check into it.

order few bottles...10 or 15 maybe? Lost count when my eyes rolled back into my head...Will regular enamel paint cleaning / thinning agents work with the Humbrol enamel? I believe they are a mix of acrylics and enamels. I have a bottle of the acrylic thinner coming.
….and in other news,
Yes, the tradition has continued. I really was careful, since they molded this as a part of the fuselage, but alas....
Not sure what to do to fix this. It will take some cogitatin'

Wings together. Nice fit and not horrible when dry fitted to fuselage!

Humbrol enamels thin and clean with standard paint thinners. At least in the past 30 some odd years that I’ve been using them. I have had best results with Testors enamel airbrush thinner for airbrushing.
Their acrylics clean up with water, and so far I’ve had good results thinning them with Testors Universal acrylic thinner. I have yet to try other acrylic thinners to check compatibility.
