I wish there was aftermarket for this build Thomas. I use old sheets for the unused portions and cut them out using shears to take advantage of the thin metal they are made of. In this case I had nothing worth using but the photo etched carb brackets will come in handy to make the throttle pieces.

I'll be using an old soda can for the brackets and have already begun that. Look for some photos soon on those.

Doing a little detail painting which I always find rewarding as well as a quick mock up to see how at all fits together. I must say it fits together flawlessly. Nothing to do with what I did I'm sure, it's just so darned well engineered. It's going to be close as far as the bronze paint is concerned. I mean really close. I have to flock the floors and then paint them, but if something goes pear shaped I'm boned for paint. I like this kind of pressure.

I remember seeing the Turbine car kit in my teen years. Never had an interest in building it. This one is coming along nicely.

And so the throttle linkage is starting to take shape. Much more to do but the basic bracketry is in place. Sorry if the pix are a little blurry. I've had three coffee's.

I would have put a PT-6 in it.

I looked it up. That PT-6 is quite a unit.

I'll be sticking with what the kit supplied in this case though. More brackets done but I am heading out to go to a friends for some R&R.

Pix tomorrow.
