Fairly likely probability with different acrylic brands… :headslap:

Main thinner problem was of my own making. I grabbed the wrong bottle. Instead of alcohol I added lighter fluid (which I use for oil washes). Result, a clogged airbrush and two models with bad paint. The two other models that I did in the same session are good.

These two builds have been fighting me all the way.
I think I did something wrong with the resin (maybe an old batch?) because at few places it keeps “sweating”. I am going to try to finish it and will just see what happens with the resin problem.

What do mean by sweating? The paint sweating off the kit?

It is uncured resin coming out, I think. Westley's Bleche White used to be the best cure until they changed the formula.

Yes, that is it. If you look at the pictures on page 1 you will see some spots on the rear fuselage. I think that is the uncured resin.
There seems to be very little I can do about it. Although I have read that hot water can be used to force curing. I might give that a try.

Very impressed with the casting you did there Borg!

Annoying about the resin sweating, but I'm sure you'll get around it.

Would heat from a hairdryer or heat gun (not too close to the resin) help?

If it is poorly mixed resin you might try acetone or lacquer thinner to dry up the problem areas.
