I have got two of these with different patterns. I really like them especially for masking canopies.

As for Macross, the Robotech edit was broadcasted overhere as well. I really liked it as a kid and it is fun to see one build. Those kits are indeed hard to find and quite expensive as well. That has held me back from building one.

Hey Borg! I have all of those cutting boards. I got them from my LHS.

Oh and if any one is interested, Hulu has a TON of Robotech/Macross shows.

Got both engine pods attached. That was some work. Still have some steps and gaps to fix around the top. The gaps on the inboard side of the engines are supposed to be there as these are also the legs of the mech when it transforms.

Also started sanding the inside of the of the intakes. Been using the Dspaie reciprocating sander with good results.

Got almost all the issues fixed that needed attention. One spot that has a large gap needs fixed. I'll sand it flush first. Not sure if I'll use CA or Milliput. I think it's too big for putty.

Yes that's a bit of a gap Mike! I'm sure you'll get it sorted though.

Thanks Stuart! I sanded it flush and added some black super glue. Sanded, more super glue, repeat.
