Well, since I am new here, in a way, I will chime in. In the past I built one at a time. About six months ago I started doing multiple kits. Breaks up the monotony when a certain kit loses it's mojo for a while. So, here is what I am doing at the moment.

1/32 WNW Sopwith Pup
1/6 Williams Brothers LeRhone engine.
1/35 Trumpeter BR-52 Locomotive
1/32 IMCTH Desktop Mustang all metal P-51
1/24 Part Works D51 Locomotive

and in the next 2 weeks or so I will start the 1/200 trumpeter B63 USS Missouri.I am going to pay especially close attention to this one. It will be the corner stone of my collection. I have the Pontos wood deck and detail set for this. It will be epic for me because I had started the Tamiya 1/350 version, got about halfway done and lost a few parts in a move rendering the Tamiya kit pretty much useless.

PA, Contact Tamiya customer service. Explain the circumstances of the lost parts for your ship and they quite possibly can and will help you out. I have always had superb service from them in the past.

I had thought of that Stik, but this kit has been out of production for a while. Besides, the 1/200 will make a much better representation. I will just have to put that much more into it.

Oh, nothing against the 1/200 build. I have no doubt that it will be a most impressive build. I just hate to see a good kit go to waste. If the parts lost are in common with their New Jersey kit, you might try that approach. I believe that kit is still in production. And even if not, they still may have the parts in stock in their warehouse. The worst thing that can happen is that they will say no. I had bought their 1/350 USS Missouri kit a couple years back from an estate sale off of ebay from a deceased gentleman's collection for a real good price. It had been started already (VERY nicely with PE work and painting I might add) but when I inventoried the kit I found that some parts were missing. I took stock of them, contacted Tamiya customer service, explained the history of the kit purchase, and within a few weeks, the lost/missing parts were in my grubby little hands. Based off of that experioence and a couple of others, I personally feel that Tamiya USA has THE BEST customer service in the industry. Although Revell/Monogram and Testors have also given me sterling service as well in the past. I will get around to finishing it one day.
