The hard part was just getting the thing to fit. I managed to get the interior/ engine bay isolators at both sides of the firewall installed as well. I had to cut a 3rd fender well out for the L/H side and after stripping the protective coat and polishing up the insides is now in the paint booth with the wheel side of it drying / curing out.

One step closer.... :dancing:

That is superb mate - lovely work!

'Preciate the uplifting word Stuart!!

The next update I carry out will be the completion photos. I spent this morning installing the hood and hinges, the windshield and the truck bed. I only have about nine items left to install but it's all a tedious thing right now. Tomorrow I'll end up installing the rear window, rear view mirror and the dice. I'll most likely make to installing the cab onto the frame. After that its down to the bumpers, sidesteps, gas cap and the upper radiator hose. I can't believe this thing is finally in the closing steps but will be taking my time here as I want to avoid any last minute mishaps. I should be posting photos within the next few days. Just in time for Christmas....

I can't wait to see this one! I was looking for the Ford blue on the engine and finally found it! This is outstanding, very well done on some very meticulous work. Way to go.

Is that fuel rail supposed to be that far out?

All you need now are the upper and lower radiator hose. JK . This is awesome stuff.

Thanks Lyle, Paul and Kari!

Paul
: I've seen a few pictures online and then I saw this with the fuel rail. Part of the reason for the length is the fuel inlet lines from the carburetors themselves are long enough and then you add the rail. Weird but it's legit, otherwise it would have been a trip back to the drawing board to get that ironed out.

I'll be back on this one hopefully tomorrow morning. After pondering what I would use for radiator hoses I found some 18 gauge insulated black wire that I'll be using for them. Gotta shoot some flat over the insulation after forming the upper hose and then fabricate some hose clamps for it. Progress pics coming soon.

I'll have pics tomorrow morning. I got the upper radiator hose done. I just need to figure out the routing and shape for the bottom one.
