Aaaaaand that's what I don't build Biplanes - I couldn't be arsed to do all that rigging!

That's looking very sharp Carlos - it's going to look excellent when done.

Carlos, congratulations on your rigging. I have read a lot pro and contra about using wire and the reasons to use wire. I feel you really took the best advantage of wire - no sagging - and overcame the difficulties which are bends and application. Watching your progress was very educational. Most of the projects I see the maker hides process, which you never ever do. This way, it’s possible to see what is working. Also giving the length of time spent constructing a sequence is very important information and I don’t do this and I should.

Thanks Bruce. I still have several more sessions to go. I am going to be using .010” wire for the wiring that represents the flying wires that go spanwise on the wings and stabilizers. It doesn’t give the head on thinness of the flying wire, but from most other angles is more representative of the airfoil chord width. Then lastly I’ll probably use more EZ line to represent the control surface lines. That’s gonna be fun... :headslap:

Thanks Mike.

One step at a time here. In today’s session I finished up the wing rigging. Except for one wire on each wing that I can’t add until I have the landing gear strut assembly glued in place. Which I have left off for ease of handling up to this point. Next stage will be the tail area. Once I have that completed, I’ll add the landing gear and the final wires up there.

In the meantime...

More progress to show hopefully tomorrow...

Carlos, note the angle of the wheels; tighter at the top, splayed outwards.
