Nuff said. ARC stinks with rivet counters. I lurk there to see some builds and get info but never post.

I'm curious as to why some of the MOFOs in this thread aren't using avatars...very annoying... :ballbat:

Yup... ARC is not a friendly or fun place. Too many self proclaimed hexperten there. I came, I saw, I left...

JimD wrote:Awkward. But that's the thing about critique honestly. You have to open yourself up to all of it, even the bad, if you want to get any good from it. Clearly dude was wrong. He probably just wanted, like many rivet counters, to gloat at how "smart" he is....fail. Don't sweat the stuff that you know to be wrong or don't agree with. You don't have to take every critique as gospel. Some is valid, some is not. You get to choose what you do and don't agree with, and how you want to proceed with fixing or not fixing it.

On a whole, I don't think shutting down any critique because of the a-holes out there is a great way to improve. I think the best way to deal with obviously bad, or intentionally agressive critique is to kill them with kindness.

Had this argument with an egomaniac at another place and he thought he'd be smooth and find one of my builds and call things out...I think it caught him by surprise when I didn't get pissed and agreed with most of is. BWAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I found theARC site but failed to find your post you were referring to. Curious to see what was said.
