Dodge 3/4 Ton WC-51
Re: Dodge 3/4 Ton WC-51
Nice. Nut, it looks nothing like George C. Scott.
Very well done.
Very well done.

Re: Dodge 3/4 Ton WC-51
As of this evening, I’m calling this one finished. At least the truck is done.

I still have a couple of figures to add, but this Dodge is done! I’ll get the usual assortment of photos of in the next few days…

Wow that looks great Stik! The gear in the bed looks so realistic. Well done.

Re: Dodge 3/4 Ton WC-51
Thanks guys!
Mike it was a multi layered effort. My flat coat went sideways, and trying to fix it with gloss was not clearing up all of the frosting, so I had to come up with an alternative. First was a wash of thinned down Vallejo Stone Gray applied over the upper surfaces. Then the wheel wells and adjacent suspension, fender, and bumper areas got a texture coat of Mig Ammo Heavy Dirt. That was followed by a light airbrushing of thinned down Vallejo Stone Gray to blend the colors together. Lastly was a dusting of AK Europe Dust pigments over the wheels, adjacent areas, and portions of the upper body.
