The decals are on. I used microsol and set to get it into the corrugations. One decal teared and the set made a few holes so I didn’t push my luck to get them in deeper. The color is a bit off when compared to the tail so I might adjust with a wash.

I thought it was a Mr Color aluminum! I’ve been using that one for awhile. It’s still my favorite because it cures fast on that plastic and takes handling well. Interesting how you harmonized the engine with the frame; that looks spot on! That looks just right for the project!

I’m a bit late to post. Decals look good too. Bravo!

And it is done! I have used Art Scale 3d printed spoked wheels, a fabulous product. I also added a few wires.

As a comparison I included pics with the ANT-5 prototype and with a Polikarpov I-5 also flown by I. Pavlov.

All in all a fun build, as I wished John would have had with the kit in his stash.
