It was slow going with a bit of planning and tracing. I made a copy of decal sheets and yellow painter tape on top of decal images to cut out to use as a template.

Once I did that, I took the template and traced it on yellow painter tape - only the outward facing side. It's a good thing I have a couple of French Curve Templates to work with.

I really need to upgrade them to stainless steel French curve templates. Those thick plastic ones are challenging to cut tape along the edges without stripping the hard plastic.

Time for a trip to Staples, Walmart, and/or Hobby Lobby to find them. :giggles:

Well it was worth all the effort!

I really want to do some GA aircraft, but it's painting all of the trim stripes that puts me off. I hadn't thought about getting French curve templates though, that's a good idea.

Landing struts/doors/wheels/lens installed. Decals prop done.

Main decals on fuselage already done. Will resume tomorrow with stencils on fuselage and wings decals.
