Stuart, this is the late model Zero, so it’ll be in the production scheme 1943 on Green over Light Gray.

Thanks Stuart. When finished this one will be pretty “Plain Jane”, but it is something of a historically significant particular aircraft.
Canopy masked off and glued into place
Now it’s ready for paint….

My left index finger took a direct hit with a 22 ounce framing hammer yesterday, but today some friends and I made it look like progress is being made.

Currently on my bench is this thing.
Had a bit of a scare with the clear coat due to the humidity maybe?
Thankfully it cleared up as it dried.

I did that kit. A note for you to be aware of.... Center belly tank is too big and visually, it doesn’t give the nose gear door enough room to properly open and close visually. Look at my thread in the Jets Group Build section...
