Kinda similar to what happened to me in an unrelated forums a few years back. I was a member of ReefCentral - a saltwater fish hobby forum. A mod there had a disliking to me for some reason and had a tendency to give infractions over the silliest stuff. It would be a matter of time I he was going to try to "bait" me into something warranted for a ban.
He got his wish only this time I made him walk into it. Kinda like baiting a pissed off pit bull after you poke him a few times to provoke an attack. I was the pissed off pit bull. In short, I called him out and exposed his intentions plus a few choice words for he deserved it; including telling him he is a power hungry mod. End result, I got the ban and embarrassed him in front of everyone. Am I sorry? Nope. He had it coming and he got his wish once and for all.
