BlackSheep's Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino
Re: BlackSheep's Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino
Outside of a hammer, the hot water is probably the best bet.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yep, hot water (around 70-80°C) and a rig to press it back in shape should work. If the paint is on for more than a few days it should survive the procedure. As for the jig: You got some LEGO bricks in your house?
Cheers,

Yeah I got some LEGO bricks... (and regular bricks.
)
Lego bricks got me intrigued. What jig did you make out of it.
Paint has been cured for a few days while I was away to Vermont.

Haven’t had the chance to get back on the bench.
Had an emergency in the cellar with the sewer backed up to my deep sink and onto the floor. Spent th3 better part of Monday night cleaning up the water. Thankfully, the water didn’t flood the whole cellar... just a small portion of it near the sink.
Had the plumber come over yesterday and ran a cable through the sewer lines. Should be okay for now.
