No surprise the DACO F-104 parts are almost ready now that your F-104 has reached this stage...

One gets used to it.
As to the F-104, I can live with it.

Just as my Classic Airframes DH Sea Hornet stalled, Trumpeter is about to release one (Hornet F.3) in 1/48th scale.
Problem: I'm through with that company. I've had it pretty much up to there with their continuous/traditional R&D sloppiness. So I'm not going to buy Trumpeter kits any longer.

I can hear you on this. But most modellers won´t care because of their competitive prices even for large kits. Nonetheless, I see your point and am with you on this.

On my workbench? A very large mess!

Just finished the garage wall behind it, so I moved the bench back in place this morning. Now to find it again under all the junk!

North American F-100D, Trumpeter 1/32nd



And no, It's not NMF - except for the hot sections of the rear fuselage.
I tried to replicate a slightly worn silver lacquer finish. Starting from 1962, F-100D were receiving a protective silver lacquer finish.



Yet to do:
Glueing the landing gear assembly in place, attaching the tip (steel tube) of the pitot boom, adding the PE harness to the bang seat ( I hate doing that sort of stuff) and painting the fuel tanks.
