It does usually spell bad news. I wouldn't dare do it with regular masking tape! I gloss with Minwax laquer, then use Future (instead of micro-set) just under the decal...seal it in with another coat of Minwax. Tamiya tape comes off well, after be de-tacked a little.

It's alright I guess, but is really in the shadow of the other two...very boring to me, when compared to the others.
