HB 1/72 MiG-3

Post by BorgR3mc0 »

Ok, just to show I am in this GB I opened this tread. I will be building the HB 1/72 MiG (another MiG-3?)

In the tradition of cooking shows, "here is one I prepared earlier."

I am not exactly sure which scheme I will be building. I have got the HB decals but also a set from HAD for early MiG-3, Italeri decals in the spares box and an Alpha/RPM MiG-3 (but those decals look like crap)

I have finally started.

The typical Easymodel cockpit. No sidewalls or depth.

I drilled out the cockpit and added some details on the side:

Thanks, I have my work cut out for me. Inspiration at:

WOW - that's a rather in depth build isn't it. That's dedication that is.

I agree Stuart, that is certainly a great display of dedication.

Not up to that standard but good enough for a closed canopy build:

All the white plastic is Evergreen, copper wire for the handle and Tamiya tape seatbelts with some PE buckles.

Nice additions. Do you make house calls?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
