If I would try to paint this in "wet to wet" it would end as a mess of colours...

It can be messy from time to time, yes. You know those Toffiffee inlays, right? Theyre very useful if you need a cheap mixing pallet - they even have smaller and bigger trays.

Or use wet Tempo hankies (wet with water, not the other stuff. LOL ) and dip the wished color in there - stays wet for hours.
