Ok, I am going to recreate a lot of lost work on this post from our former site of this WIP. But it will not be as smooth flowing as it was orginally. I started this build back in February, and for some reason, in the nite, istead of going straight OOB, I decided to add detail to the interior. While most of it will be visible at one point or another, especially under IPMS penlights, I still stop and shake my head and wonder, "what was I thinking...?"

and this is the point where I stop and get angry because quite frankly I have lots of things that need doing, rather than spending my day redoing lost work due to some thin skinned individual...

and continuing upon my lost work recovery, more activity in creating the radio/navigator compartment

after taking care of the compartment bulkheads I had to come up with the compartment flooring, radio rack frames, seating, etc...

After taking care of the forward fuselage, I could not leave the rear portion undone- in for a penny, in for a pound... so I had to scratch up more bulkheads, framing, shelves, seats, ammo feed chutes, etc.

and finally I began working on the tail gunners area... this has been where I have had to pay more attention to how some things line up as it will be more visible

I have just one more thing to scratchbuild- the overhead ammo cans for teh waist guns and then I can start painting after I add them and the flex ammo chutes...
so there you have it. Two months of a WIP in 4-5 posts... with a fraction of the explanation of work performed... BSY, I feel your pain from your B-29 thread...

They do have a passing resemblance... but are more badass than any armadillo that I ever crossed paths with...

Ah! The B-26 build with more detail inside than the kit itself has parts...

This is a formidable build, showing you skills, Khan! Good to see it back!
