It does seem as if it is a loaded question but I am sort of curious as to what you would call the most beautiful plane,car, boat or what ever in your eyes. For me there are two planes in particular. 1.Northrop Gamma and 2 the Lockheed Constellation.
I guess I am a sucker for those classic lines and sexy airplanes of the 30's and 40's.

Since this is a PG-13 site I'll behave and not say what came to mind... I am really partial to some of the 50s designs when technology was proceeding at a break neck pace. To my eye, it is really hard to beat an F-104 for sheer beauty. The early Spitfires come close as well.

Aside from the standard P-51 and B-17...the F-86 is great...the F-5 is pretty sexy, with it's "hour glass" figure.
The A-7 is one of my all time favorites...but that's more "ruggedly handsome" than beautiful!

For me I would say it's be a mk.II Spitfire - before the cannons and other modifications started coming in.

Cars: whatever Clarkson tests from AMG...

Jets: Sukhoi Su-27 and F-104 short behind

Ships: Russian Udaloy Class Destroyer

Jets: F/A-18 Hornets
Fighter props: F4U-1 Corsair, Spitfire, Typhoon, etc... basically any WW2 fighters
Bomber props: B-17G Flying Fortress, Avro Lancaster, de Havilland Mosquito
Armor: T-34, Sherman

I would have to second you there Stu, Mk.I/Mk.II Spitfire for me. For some strange reason, I find the Bf110 mesmerising and I'm not quite sure why!

Pretty difficult to nail down,beauty is in the eye of the beholder,but off the top of my head

Ships:Japanese Heavy Cruisers,Takao,Haguro,love the triple turrets forward,and the long slim profile.
