Seeing Double! The Prop Twins GB - Chat/Rules

Post by bubbasparksuk »

So here we are, after my initial feeler earlier in the week, we now have a new Member Group Build!
If you haven't guessed already, the subject for this is Twin-Prop Aircraft, if it has two propellers whether it be military or civil, fighter/bomber/recon, all are welcome!

I was aiming to start this GB later on in the year, but after the positive response I received, it will now start on Monday 1st February 2016 and last until Tuesday 31st January 2017 (although this can easily be extended).

This Group Build is welcome to all, so if you fancy a crack at it, just open yourself up a new topic with your build as the Subject and get started! There are no limits to scale, kit manufacturer or the amount of builds you do, just open a new topic for each separate build. When each build is finished, there will be a Gallery page for you to post your pics of your completed builds!

I will be joining in myself around the middle of the year, as each topic is posted, you will be added to the roll call below. So all that's left to say is enjoy and have fun!

Roll Call...
  • 1. bubbasparksuk - Eduard 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf110E
  • 2. LyleW - Minicraft 1:48 Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket (Short & Long Nosed) - COMPLETE
  • 3. Paul - Dragon 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf110E/Hobbyboss 1:32 P-61B
  • 4. BorgR3mc0 - Hasegawa 1:72 Mitsubishi MU-2J
  • 5. Cherrylock - Revell 1:48 A-26 Invader
  • 6. Thomas_M - Revell 1:48 C-45F Expeditor
  • 7. Duke Maddog - Italeri 1:72 Messerschmitt Bf110C3/C4 Zerstorer

My goodness, I have a LOT of twin engine wingy things. Over 30! Sheesh. Glad I don't have a problem.

Here is my initial entry.

Bad timing on my side: working on the MRAP (one engine) and a Revell Fw 190 (same...). :bored:

That's a two engine build.......C'mon old man. Jump in with something simple like an Eduard Weekend edition!
