Do you ever have the situation when you really fancy building something but you don’t know what?

For the first time in ages, I don’t have anything on the bench (asides from the slow build Saturn V).

I cleared my WIP last month (the Fury and Mig-21) and I’ve cleaned out the S.O.D by either binning anything that I was never going to finish, or giving it to my son to play with.
I’ve also pulled out of the two SIG builds for the IPMS Telford Show that I had signed up for as I wasn’t enjoying them and can’t make the show anyway. I'm not envolved in any GB's to speak off, and I've also put away the VC Icons set I was working on before I went on Holiday/Vacation for the past two and a half weeks as WWII wasn’t really speaking to me.

So for the first time I can remember – I have a clear bench and nothing that needs to be done. And now I’m looking at my stash and NOTHING is calling to me to build – lol, it makes you wonder why I have it really

Do you ever get into this situation - And what do you do to get over it…? (I'm not complaining - it's a NICE situation to be in finally - to have free reign over what I build for the first time in ages - but the muse seems to have gone).

You can't resist. You will buy something. . . .so, go do it.

Let's see. Going Brit. maybe something like a Nimrod or one of the V bombers

going European, something different, A Macchi, Moraine Saulnier, maybe a Japanese fighter like a Shinden.

There are always things that strike my fancy say, ship, boat or a nice McClaren, Jaguar. Porche seems to have been over done.
There are tons of things to do or just take a break and have a pint of bitters.

Do something COMPLETELY different than what you're used to.

I picked this up a month or so ago and have just got around to reading it -



I have to say I hadn't realised it was the 25th Anniversary of the Gulf War. I do have a couple of Tornado GR.1's in the stash along with an F-16A, Hornet F/A-18A and a Challanger mk.I.

I also have some nice Operation Granby RAF decals

If you still are undecided....send me a $100 or so and I will get something and build it for you!
