Bruce, it was a very good meal... I'm getting my charcoal grilling down to a fine art this season... Too bad I'm working the 4th of July this year...

I was told that there has been a blue Sqn, but it wasnt possible to film it in the early days because of BLUESCREEN. The blue parts would just dont be there in the movie - thats why red Sqn etc was realized. Nowadays of course with CGI and stuff its abbsolutely no problem after all.Stikpusher wrote:portman wrote:

The first X-Wing built by ILM was Blue One.

I would ask for your thoughts on finding a pilot figure for the project? Would you have any ideas about where to find one to improve upon the kit's version?

Blue One from 1976. The first completed X. This model was photographed and used by the Scenic Department in London to design the full-size prop.
