Qui Gon figure

Post by BorgR3mc0 »

This Qui Gon figure comes from a Star Wars game. The Darth Maul figure has been painted years ago but for some reason I have never painted Qui Gon.

Looking forward to seeing your work on this. What size is this figure?

Borg, so excited to see you take on this Qui-Gon pewter figure from Clash of the Lightsabers! What a great game!!!

Carlos, I think the figure height is approximately 2 inches tall, maybe a little bit more? Let us know, Borg! What a great custom base!! Will Maul be part of the diorama?

Yes, that is the game. My mother bought it for me when it was in a deep discount at a French super market. In all honesty, I tossed the game away after a while and kept the figures. Darth Maul is already painted and will be a part of the display.

The figure is about 4 cm big. So that is less then 2 inches.

I started on the base. A grey coat from a duplicolor rattle can and detail painting with Humbrol acrylics. Next a wash and some dry brushing.

And a little mock up. Qui-Gon is the only one missing colour.

Certainly my favorite light sabre fight of the prequel trilogy...
