As someone know actually i'm divided in two houses, stash and workbench included, in the newewst i just glue and detail the kits interiors and paint with acrilics (this little workbens is located in my actual bedroom) , in the old main worchbench i finish external paint session with my trusted humbrol enamels
So, two days ago i was in the old house , in the kithchen watchin the TV i was intentioned to glue something.. and the victim was the new tooling halifax from revell brought two or three years ago with the condor
As other experienced modelers already checked the new kit is really fully of details and pieces (about 400) but... wrong reproduced details , as the engine nacelles, propellers , ogives and gears can't allow to elect this kit as the perfect halifax reproductions :( so no matter about to brought resin correction kits i'll build this kit just for fun almost (ok.. i'll try..) OOB and experiment an almost total black painting on this bird (i'll build the boxart plane, the coastal command version was already done with the old matchbox kit) .
Boxart

for the sprues i think this link is better than the pictures i took at the time
http://www.scalemodellingnow.com/hn-air ... e-halifaxb
an old picture with first test fitting

Already glued some minor piece as bomb bay bulkheads and few other things, but this time i started from wings
The wells complex glued toghether, four parts plus the engines bulkheads not yet glued here

Gears parts glued as subassemblies

Tail surfaces glued too as subassemblies, all control surfaces are moulded separately

Glued wings under pressure

the kitchen table with the high precision tools i used

Perfect fitting of the wells with the wings, also glued the engines bulkheads and an internal reinforce with simple sprue piece

Engine nacelles assembly, the kit includes lost of alternative parts for air cooler , air intakes and exhausts

messing the table

on wings

and put in the box again.. a good top opening box instead of original side opening "really large" box

At the next
