Ah man - what a bloody nightmare I've had getting these clear parts to fit (and wow, what a lot of rather large gaps I have around them to fill LOL!)...
BUT...
HELLCAT!!!!

BUT...
HELLCAT!!!!

Hellcat is looking good Stuart!
I did get some time at the bench this weekend! This big yellow nose art decal is proving to be a real pain to lay down over this raised detail on the Monogram Jug!

Re: What's on your work bench atm ?
This is my main bench at the moment - Italeri Grumman Hellcat and Airfix P-40B and Wildcat (all 1/72). I also have a JP on the kitchen table downstairs being decalled and somewhere, I have the rockets and bombs for the F-51D I'm building.
On the Wildcat I'm trying out the interior green from the USN paint set I picked up - pretty good paint. Needed a spot of thinner but it's a nice solid colour.

Had fun over the weekend assembling some Wildcat u/c - fiddly but thankfully square... ish...

I also started getting some paint on my Hellcat.

Just a few touch ups but the painting is done on my Hellcat. I'm basically building this and the Wildcat because I've not brush painted anything since last December and I'm rusty as hell. This isn't my best work but it'll do.
