Thanks Stuart! I really had a blast working on those bugs. The Marines were a bit difficult due to small, fiddly parts.

Carlos, if you want me to build and paint your Marines and bugs, let me know. My friend whose miniatures I painted paid me $1.50 per Marine to build and paint, and $2.00 per bug to build and paint.

Then you can bring it to Hobby Day and you and I can play it!

No, I definitely want to do the painting Mark. My son said he bought them for me to build and paint, so I can’t go against that. But I’d love to play a round or two of the game with you once I have them completed.

Stik - that's REALLY cool! It'd be interesting to see how that plays, and I'll be looking forward to seeing how those models look when you're done.

Well then chaps - asides from the base, I've finished my first figure - please do let me know what you think!

I hope you like it.

And here he is taking on his first Genestealer...

As for the actual game...

Well here's the 1st edition box I picked up from ebay...

Image

With pretty much ALL of the 1st edition bits that I've also picked up!

The only thing missing now is the 2nd squad of Space Marines. Strange, but Revel have actually released some of the older GW mouldings in a build and paint series - and the Terminator Squad I need happens to be one of these - so I have one on order...

Thanks for looking!
